Billing information The practice operates on a fee-for-service basis, which means you will need to pay me at the time of treatment. I have officially “opted out” of Medicare. If you have Medicare, including Medicare Advantage plans, you can not ask them for reimbursement. If you have private insurance, I will email you a receipt, called a superbill, which you can forward to your insurance company for reimbursement for seeing an out-of-network doctor. No guarantee that they will reimburse you or at what percentage. It was a difficult decision not to take insurance, but it would require staff, and I have chosen to keep this a small practice with only myself.

McLay bio I’m a 1994 graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. My primary interest was osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), so I took every OMM extracurricular class and course available to me. I completed my Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the Detroit Medical Center Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan and worked for 14 years in Maine, practicing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I then joined the Osteopathic Principles and Practice Department at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, where I taught osteopathic manipulation and rehab medicine to the students for over 10 years. Being a professor has been the most wonderful work I have had. At the medical school, I became the OMM baby expert and taught this to the students. I moved to Eugene in 2022 to live near my son and his family and am enjoying the PNW and my new little private practice!
